Jim is a Co-Founder of MM Blockchain Advisory, LLC and a Wall Street technology executive with an expert knowledge of financial markets applied to the fintech sector. His expertise is centered on distributed ledger technology using blockchain solutions to simplify and solve business needs related to IT security, province, identify and rights management. Prior roles have included COO @ UBS within Investment Banking IT, Head of strategy and planning, VP of portfolio mergers and acquisitions @ GE Capital, and advisor to private equity firm Thomas Lee.
Jim has several existing patents previously assigned to GE for innovation in web technology, and several additional patents currently pending submission for innovative blockchain based solutions. Jim has been actively engaged in Blockchain since 2015 as both a fintech advisor and senior member of various steering committees helping to drive business transformation. Projects ranged from introducing Blockchain technology into the trade lifecycle to advisory roles on structuring token offerings for perspective ICO’s.
Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manhattan College with degrees in Accounting & Economics, and a minor in Mathematics & Computer Science. He received a CPA from the New York department of Education while working as an auditor with Deloitte.
